Hannah Marks (Don’t Make Me Go and After Everything) is in charge of directing the romantic drama, with a screenplay adapted by the director herself alongside Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker.

The story follows Aza Holmes, a sixteen-year-old struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety. She becomes involved in a mystery when she reconnects with an old friend, Davis Pickett, whose billionaire father has disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

The book was praised for its honest depiction of OCD and anxiety, offering readers a compassionate and informative narrative. The title is derived from the philosophical concept of infinite regress, metaphorically representing Aza’s recurring struggles and the cyclical nature of her thoughts.
