“Fitting In” is the R-rated comedy that was released in 2023 and this week has become one of the most-watched in the Max catalog worldwide, ranking fifth in the Top 10.
Written and directed by Molly McGlynn, the story follows a young woman who is diagnosed with a reproductive condition that disrupts her plans for a sexual life, leading her to explore unconventional methods.

Fitting In could have been categorized as just another teen drama, but it was quite the opposite, standing out for its innovative story, unexpected twists, great cast and direction.
According to Flix Patrol, this comedy has become the fifth most-watched movie on Max worldwide, surpassing other important productions like “Barbie” with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
The excellent dancer turned professional actress Maddie Ziegler is not the only star shining, as the cast is composed of recognized figures such as Emily Hampshire and D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai.
With a duration of one hour and 45 minutes, the Canadian coming-of-age comedy has everything, especially a lot of elements that have enriched the story with moments that will make you reflect and even cry.
Originally, the film was titled “Bloody Hell” for its first screening at SXSW, but eventually the production team opted for a name that was more suitable for the narrative.
It won the award for Best Canadian Film at the 2023 Vancouver International Film Festival and managed to position itself as one of the best of the year, especially among younger audiences.
