House of the Dragon is back on the Max catalog, and it’s time to find out how the popular story of two of the most powerful houses in Game of Thrones, the parent series on which the prequel is based, continues.

After two years of waiting, the new episodes of the creation by Ryan J. Condal and George R.R. Martin will arrive on Sunday, June 16, and will be released weekly, as is normally the case.

It has been confirmed that the second season will not be the end of the spin-off, but quite the opposite, as it has been renewed again, without even having released its most recent episodes.

The HBO production, available on the Max platform and inspired by Fire & Blood, will have 16 more episodes, not counting those of the second part. The writer responsible for the books assured in an interview:

“I spent two days locked in a room with Ryan Condal and his writing team discussing the third and fourth seasons of House of the Dragon. They were lively and fun debates, and we managed to do good work… although two days were not enough“.
