Every time a platform like Facebook or Instagram goes down globally, it is inevitable that the online community takes it, often, with humor. Many react and create memes to express their frustration in a comedic way.

The same has happened this afternoon, as Meta has experienced another outage, after several months of smooth operation. Thousands of users have reported errors when trying to access social services.

Andy Stone, spokesperson for Meta, posted on X, “We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now”, but users’ ironic reactions were directed straight to CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
