The story revolves around an Irish shepherd family facing various challenges: internal struggles, hostility within the family, and rivalry with another farmer. Keoghan brings Jack, one of the main characters, to life.

The Weeknd and Trey Edward Shults have joined forces for a new project, which has not been titled yet but already features multiple A-list stars in its cast. Shults will be directing the plot, which was co-written by both producer stars and Reza Fahim (The Idol). The plot has not been revealed yet, but it has been confirmed to be a drama, and we can expect some high-voltage scenes.



<h3>Bird – TBA</h3>



Bird is the upcoming major drama that will be directed and written by Andrea Arnold, featuring a broad ensemble cast. Although the plot and release date are still unknown, several prominent names will bring life to the main characters.

Matt Reeves (Lift, War for the Planet of the Apes and Let Me In) will be directing the film, set to be released on October 3, 2025. The script was developed by Peter Craig, Bill Finger, Bob Kane, Mattson Tomlin and the filmmaker himself.



<h3>Amo Saddam – TBA</h3>



Amo Saddam will be directed by Johan Renck and follows a soldier who monitors Saddam Hussein before the trial and execution of the Iraqi dictator. It is estimated that this role will be played by the Irish actor.



Currently, the film is in pre-production, and the only cast member announced so far is Keoghan. Darby Kealey took on the task of adapting the script from the book written by Will Bardenwerper.



<h3>Crime 101 | TBA</h3>



Rumor has it that Barry has added a new film to his to-do list, “Crime 101“, a suspense and action drama directed by Bart Layton, which is still in pre-production.



The Irish actor would be accompanied by two big names: Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo. These three stars will bring the main characters to life, although their names have not yet been confirmed.

Sam Mendes is ensuring that the biopic “Beatles” is carried out correctly, not only by directing the film but also by overseeing the project, which will feature a stellar cast of young and popular actors.



It appears that the Oscar-winning director will helm four installments that tell the story of each member of the world’s most famous band. During a statement, he spoke about each one of them.



“I am honored to tell the story of the greatest rock band of all time and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies”, the filmmaker said in an official statement.



Although there is no exact release date yet, Rolling Stone magazine indicated that they could be arriving sometime in 2027. The outlet also reported that each film will present an individual perspective before their paths cross, portraying the entire process of the ensemble.

City on Fire is the new crime film that will feature Austin as its protagonist, in the role of Danny Ryan. Although it is currently in post-production, some details about the project, such as its plot and screenwriter, have already been revealed.

The script was developed by Don Winslow (Savages and The Death and Life of Bobby Z), who is also responsible for the novels on which the film is based. The actor himself will produce a film that, if all goes well, could be the beginning of a new franchise. 



The story is set in the mid-1980s and follows Danny Ryan, who is forced to transform from a street soldier into a ruthless commander to save his loved ones. Due to this, he plans to create a dynasty or perish in the attempt while battling against the mafia, the police and the government. 



Deadline confirmed on April 16th that Justin Kuritzkes, the writer of “<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/luca-guadagninos-challengers-when-is-the-movie-with-zendaya-released-20240221-SPEN-7289.html">Challengers</a>” with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/zendaya">Zendaya</a>, will be responsible for writing the script for the adaptation, which will also be produced by Butler and focuses on two criminal empires in a brutal war.



<h3>Eddington | 2025</h3>



Not much is known yet about <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/ari-asters-eddington-all-about-the-movie-with-emma-stone-and-austin-butler">Eddington</a>, the upcoming drama featuring Butler in the cast. However, it has been confirmed that the film will be directed and written by Ari Aster, known as one of the best filmmakers of the generation.



Austin will share the screen with two prominent figures: Joaquin Phoenix and Candice Bergen. So far, they are the only ones confirmed to carry out the plot, which has been described as a “Film noir ensemble western dark comedy”.

The movie is being written by Charlie Huston (Already Dead, Catchpenny: A Novel and Moon Knight Omnibus), based on his book of the same name. Protozoa produces and Sony will distribute. 



<h3>Heat 2 | TBA</h3>



It seems that everything indicates that Austin Butler will be the one to replace Val Kilmer‘s character in the upcoming Heat 2, directed by Michael Mann. The young actor has been seen undergoing gun training with Taran Tactical.



The filmmaker in charge of the project also stated that he wants Adam Driver as a young version of Robert De Niro‘s character. Nearly 30 years later, the action thriller seems to be making a comeback on the big screen.

This year, the Gala welcomed guests to the exhibition “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” According to Vogue, the collection celebrates “clothing and fashion so fragile that it can’t ever be worn again—and are thus sleeping beauties in the scrupulous archives of the Costume Institute.”

Meanwhile, “The Garden of Time” part of the theme comes from the short story of the same title by J.G. Ballard in 1962. The story follows two aristocrats, Count Axel and his wife, surrounded in an exquisite castle garden by an advancing mob. To stop the danger, the Count must pluck a time-reversing flower and they are safe another day. However, when they run out, the mob finally enters the castle, and they find a statue of a man and a woman in the garden.





Regarding the several interpretations of the story, we can agree that the themes are clear: time, nature, and decay. Per Vogue, the interpretation of the themes can go from the literal theme of a “garden” (think, floral) or going with more nuanced designs that explore time and nature (after all, the exhibition is divided into Land, Sea and Sky). Other garments that could fit the theme nicely might include recreations of the archival designs that will be featured in the exhibition.



<h2>Who are the co-chairs of the Met Gala?</h2>



The 2024 Met Gala co-chairs are big A-listers and known-fashion lovers (at least, three of them): Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth. While this will be the first Met Gala for the ‘Thor’ actor, the first three names have been seen at the event before.

On December 25, 2023, Screen Rant announced that one of Gyllenhaal’s upcoming major projects will reunite him with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/marvel">Marvel</a> once again. He won’t be reprising a supporting role; instead, he will bring John Prophet to life in the adaptation of the comic “Prophet“.



Sam Hargrave will be directing the film, and the release date is still a mystery. Despite initially joining the MCU as Mysterio, this is the actor’s new opportunity to secure a larger role within the company.



Prophet is a character created by Rob Liefeld in the 1990s, during the early days of the Image Comics publisher. He was a genetically created supersoldier in World War II. The action drama The Anarchists vs ISIS will be directed by Daniel Espinosa, based on a script by Seth Harp. The film is still in development, but it has been confirmed that Jake Gyllenhaal is the only officially announced cast member at the moment.



The story follows a group of American activists who join forces with a Kurdish militia to help defeat ISIS in Syria. It is not yet known what role Jake will play in the thriller, but it is estimated that he will portray one of these activists.

The character is a supervillain, with his main obsession being to hunt and defeat the most dangerous creatures. In the comics, he considers Spider-Man as his most desired prey, so the adaptation might pave the way for a crossover at some point.

The story follows Pino, whose country has been taken over by fascist Mussolini and his Nazi allies. He joins the underground movement to help Jews escape to Switzerland but is later conscripted into the German army by his parents. When Pino is injured, he is assigned a role that provides a significant advantage as a member of the Italian resistance: serving as Adolf Hitler’s personal chauffeur.



<h3>Fred Astaire biopic</h3>



Fred Astaire will have his own biopic, and it will be Tom Holland who brings the actor, singer, and dancer to life. Sony will be the production company in charge of the title, and now that the young star has returned to the scene, it is estimated that the film will resume its development.

Steven O’Dell, an executive at Sony Pictures, confirmed that the action, adventure and science fiction movie is already in development, so it could hit theaters in the coming years, with Tom Holland and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/mark-Wahlberg">Mark Wahlberg</a> returning.



The British actor will return to lead the plot in the role of Nathan Drake, while he is accompanied by his co-star, who brings Victor Sullivan to life. Mark himself assured that his character will be more faithful to the games.



<h3>Spider-Man 4</h3>



Of course, after watching “No Way Home”, it goes without saying that there will be new films on the way, bringing back the original actors. The fourth installment is scheduled for 2026, with filming taking place in the summer of 2025.



So far, he and Zendaya are the only confirmed cast members for <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/tom-holland-discusses-the-future-of-spider-man-4-all-about-the-marvel-movie">Spider-Man 4</a>. In an interview with Fandango, producer Amy Pascal revealed that No Way Home is not the last for the superhero; quite the opposite, as Sony is considering expanding the character’s story in Marvel.



 “We think of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies”, she confessed.



<h3>American Speed</h3>



“American Speed” is the upcoming dramatic film from Oscar-nominated Charles Roven, which will bring together two of the most talented young stars in the industry: Tom Holland and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/austin-butler">Austin Butler</a>. And… they’ll be brothers!



The film is based on real events and follows the story of two Texan brothers, Dale and Bill Whittington, who used to be race car drivers. Both competed in Le Mans as well as multiple times in the Indy 500.



They were really popular, especially after being part of the 1980s scandal involving the International Motor Sports Association, where drivers funded their activities with drug trafficking profits.



Not much is known about the project yet, only that the actors are the only confirmed cast members as of September 2024, and that the producer behind it, along with Atlas Entertainment, is confirmed.



<h3>Untitled Christopher Nolan Universal Project</h3>



Christopher Nolan’s mysterious upcoming project, expected to be released on July 17, 2026, is poised to be another A-list picture from him. Not only has it called on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/matt-damon">Matt Damon</a> to star, but it has also added Tom Holland to what is expected to be one of the most star-studded casts.



Not much is known about the film, except that it will be set in a time period that is not close to the present at all. Following Nolan’s very successful collaboration with Universal for “Oppenheimer”, the studio will once again produce and is already preparing for an IMAX release, as is customary for the director.



This will be the third time that the filmmaker and Damon collaborate, while it will be a first for Holland. Given that Nolan has a tendency to direct Oscar-nominated performances, fans of the “Spider-Man” actor are already buzzing with excitement about this possibility.



<h3>Avengers: Doomsday</h3>

This happened because the Recording Academy changed a rule in June 2023. The new rule says that to get nominated, artists, featured artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, mixers, and mastering engineers must be credited with at least 20 percent of the album’s playing time.
