Sydney Sweeney will serve as both star and producer of “I Pretended to Be a Missing Girl,” according to Deadline. Sydney Sweeney will star as Kim Novak in “Scandalous!,” Oscar nominee Colman Domingo’s directorial debut, with David Jonsson portraying Sammy Davis Jr. According to Deadline, the film tells the explosive true story of the secret romance between Novak and Davis Jr. in 1957, set against the glittering but perilous backdrop of Hollywood’s Golden Age, where racial boundaries, studio politics, and even the Mafia complicated their affair.
