The fourth season of “The Boys” is nearing its conclusion, but showrunner Eric Kripke shows no signs of slowing down in developing new characters. One of these is Firecracker, one of the new members of the Seven.

This character has sparked the interest of the devoted fan base, especially since she was created solely for the series and does not appear in the comics. As the episodes progress, her role becomes increasingly enigmatic, particularly as she deepns her lore as the nemesis of Starlight, who currently leads the anti-Vought movement.

“The Boys” often introduces new faces or actors who may not be widely known, similar to Antony Starr when the production began. However, don’t mistake Valorie Curry, the actress behind Firecracker, as a newcomer.

Who is Valorie Curry?

If you recognize Valorie Curry’s face, you might recall her from the #1 teenage film franchise in history. The 38-year-old actress first gained prominence for her role as Charlotte in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”.

While her role in “Twilight” was relatively small, Curry has built her reputation through a diverse career. She portrayed Talia in the last “Blair Witch” movie and starred as Emma Hill in Kevin Bacon‘s series “The Following”.

Gamers might also recognize Curry’s voice from the 2018 video game “Detroit: Become Human”, where she also performed motion capture for the character Kara. Her work earned her a nomination for Fan Favorite Female Voice Actor at the Gamers’ Choice Awards.

In her personal life, Valorie Curry publicly came out as a queer woman on National Coming Out Day in 2019. She prefers to keep her romantic life private on social media, so whether she is currently dating anyone remains undisclosed.
