Tom Holland has spent nearly a decade as one of the defining faces of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but even one of the franchise’s biggest stars can find himself outside the spotlight.

During Marvel Studios’ latest Hall H presentation, the actor was noticeably absent from the stage, a surprise considering the growing anticipation surrounding his return as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

What Did Tom Holland Say About Missing Marvel’s Hall H Presentation?

Tom Holland revealed that he was “a little offended” after not being invited to Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation, admitting that he only learned about the event after it had already happened. The actor explained during an interview with ET that his reaction came more from surprise than frustration:

I gotta be honest, I was a little offended… I didn’t even know it was happening. And then I saw online that all my pals were standing up on stage”.

During his comments, Holland joked about being left out of the major Comic-Con moment, but also acknowledged that Marvel had its reasons for deciding which stars would appear on stage.

The absence stood out because the actor is currently preparing to return as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, one of the studio’s most anticipated upcoming projects.

Hall H has historically been one of Marvel Studios’ biggest platforms for revealing new footage, announcements and cast appearances, making the actor’s omission more noticeable among fans. The studio’s presentations at San Diego Comic-Con have often relied on surprise appearances from its biggest stars.
