The star reportedly has a base salary of at least $20 million for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” with backend bonuses potentially pushing his total earnings beyond $100 million. The Wrap reported the figures, highlighting how the film’s extraordinary box office performance could dramatically increase Holland’s final payday.

The reported $20 million base salary already represents a significant increase from Holland’s previous outing as the wall crawler. However, the more striking part of the deal comes from the performance based compensation attached to the movie. With “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” now crossing $2 billion worldwide, those additional bonuses could bring Holland’s total earnings to more than $100 million.

“Brand New Day” represents a new phase for Holland’s version of Peter Parker. Following the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” the character is living alone and has committed himself almost entirely to protecting New York City. The title takes a more grounded approach, with Parker confronting street level threats rather than another world ending crisis.

That shift also gave Holland a more substantial role in shaping the character. He became more involved in the development of “Brand New Day” than he had been on the previous pictures, contributing ideas for Peter’s evolving powers and the direction of this new chapter. The finished story follows Parker as his abilities change while his dedication to being Spider-Man begins to affect the rest of his life.

The result has been a major theatrical success for Sony and Marvel. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has earned $2.03 billion worldwide, making it the highest grossing Spider-Man movie and the highest-grossing film released in 2026. The movie has also become the eighth highest-grossing film of all time.
