“So when I touchdown, call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team. Ditch the clowns, get the crown. Baby, I’m the one to be. ‘Cause the sign on your heart said it’s still reserved for me. Honestly, who are we to fight thе alchemy?”.

“Shirts off, and your friends lift you up over their heads. Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said. There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league. Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me”.

So High School

So High School was described as a song that portrays youth and the discovery of love. The singer makes direct references to her boyfriend’s profession and how their relationship has formed under public scrutiny, as well as the decision not to hide.

“I feel so high school every time I look at you. I wanna find you in a crowd just to hide from you”, says a part of the song. On the other hand, it also references the game “marry, kiss or kill”, as Travis said in 2016 that he would kiss Taylor and marry Katy Perry.

“Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me. It’s just a game, but really. I’m bettin’ on all three for us two. Get my car door, isn’t that sweet? Then pull me to the backsеat. No one’s evеr had me, not like you”.
