Wizards of Waverly Place sequel

Disney fans, pay attention… The wizards are back! Both stars will be executive producers and will appear in the episodes. The story focuses solely on the life of the eldest Russo. However, Selena will return as Alex in the first episode. The new installment is expected to be a success, especially as it touches on nostalgia and strikes a sentimental chord among fans.

The continuation of the successful series that catapulted its stars to stardom will feature an adult Justin, who has left behind his magical powers to live a normal life with his wife and two children. However, everything will change when a young and powerful wizard appears at his door, forcing him to accept his past to secure the future of the magical world.

Linda Ronstadt biopic

Although at the moment, almost everything about the Linda Ronstadt biopic is a mystery, all signs point to Selena Gomez starring in the film about her life. The pop icon posted a story some time ago where she was seen reading the memoirs of the country icon, which were published in 2013.

According to Variety, the musical film is in pre-production, and the producers have already been established. John Boylan, Ronstadt’s manager and James Keach, who previously produced the 2019 documentary “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice”, are involved in the project.

David O. Russell will be directing the project, with Gary White developing the screenplay. Gomez has not officially confirmed her participation as Linda, but the specialized site IMDb has already listed the celebrity as the lead.

The story will focus on the life experiences of the country, Latin music, and rock ‘n’ roll legend who won 11 Grammy Awards. Her albums were a sensation in the 1970s, especially those titled “Heart Like a Wheel” and “Simple Dreams”.
