Wizards of Waverly Place is back on the screen and will soon premiere its highly anticipated sequel on Disney, where we will see Selena Gomez and David Henrie reprise their roles as siblings and wizards.
The continuation of the original series has already been given the green light and will begin production next month. The actress and singer who portrayed Alex Russo for 106 episodes will be back for the pilot.
The two stars will not only be present in the story but will also serve as executive producers of the TV show, whose first season will follow Justin Russo and what became of his life after the known events.
When will Wizards Beyond Waverly Place be released?
Now that the sequel to Wizards of Waverly Place, called “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” is in development and it’s been confirmed that it will premiere October 29 on Disney Channel and October 30 on Disney+.

This time, the story will follow Justin Russo, who has left his powers behind to lead a normal life with his wife and children until a young wizard in need of training appears at his doorstep.
Selena Gomez will be accompanying David Henrie in the fiction, and so far it has been confirmed that she will only appear in the pilot episode, so it is not known what her role will be in the story itself.

As announced some time ago, David Henrie will lead the spin-off plot, so he will resume his iconic role, only this time he will give up immortality to reunite with his family.
