Instead, she sees it as the beginning of a new phase built on growth, training, and the desire to keep challenging herself. Speaking to Variety, the actress reflected on earning newfound respect in Hollywood.

Pamela Anderson Believes Her Best Work Is Still Ahead

For many actors, receiving widespread critical praise after decades in the spotlight would feel like a final validation. For Pamela Anderson, it has become motivation to keep moving forward. When asked how it feels to now be regarded as a highly respected actress after years of highs and lows, she welcomed the recognition while making it clear she has no intention of slowing down.

“I love that. I’m so grateful because I do work very hard; I study and work with acting teachers,” Anderson said, adding that she remains focused on discovering her full potential. Rather than viewing her recent success as the culmination of her career, she described it as another step in a much longer journey. “I’m just scratching the surface and have a whole lot more to give.”

That outlook follows one of the busiest and most celebrated periods of her professional life. After making her Broadway debut in “Chicago,” Anderson opened a new chapter with the documentary “Pamela, a Love Story,” her memoir “Love, Pamela,” and the acclaimed drama “The Last Showgirl.” The film earned her the strongest reviews of her career, along with Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, before she returned to the big screen in “The Naked Gun.”

Looking ahead, Anderson said her ambitions remain firmly fixed on continuing to evolve. “I want to ascend, and keep working, and be on the radar of all these incredible artists and talented people. I want to keep exploring myself.” She closed the thought with a mindset that reflects where she sees herself today: “I feel like I have nothing to lose, so why not keep pushing?”
