The emotional update comes just weeks after the actor and NASCAR driver confirmed that he and his wife, Paige Price, had separated and were moving forward with a divorce.

Frankie Muniz Opens Up About Time Away From His Son

As he prepared to leave for another work commitment, Muniz shared a heartfelt message about parting with his 5-year-old son, Mauz. “Man, I hate saying goodbye to my son,” he wrote, adding that despite having done it many times, “it just gets harder and harder.” He also revealed that he is “Trusting in God to help get through this not so fun patch while trying to be fun for him.”

The post was accompanied by family photos, including a smiling selfie with Mauz and another image of the child fishing by a lakeside. While many followers interpreted the message through the lens of Muniz’s recent personal life, the actor later clarified the reason for his departure after one social media user suggested he should instead focus on repairing his relationship. “I’m flying to work…” Muniz replied.

His comments arrive less than a month after he and Paige Price publicly announced the end of their relationship. The couple began dating in 2016, became engaged in 2018, and married in October 2019. They welcomed their son in March 2021 before revealing on July 1 that they had separated and were proceeding with a divorce.

Despite ending their marriage, Muniz and Price have emphasized that they remain committed to co-parenting Mauz and continue to work together through Muniz Racing. Their public statements described the separation as amicable.
