Monsanto
“Monsanto” is an upcoming legal drama directed by John Lee Hancock that will bring a criminal case to the screen. Laura Dern will portray Dr. Melinda Rogers and will be joined by Glen Powell and Anthony Mackie.
The story follows lawyer Brent Wisner, who takes on a case against Monsanto on behalf of gardener Dewayne “Lee” Johnson, who used the company’s herbicide Roundup and developed cancer. The toxicologist testified about its safety.
Big Little Lies Season 3
Now that the third season of Big Little Lies has been confirmed, fans of the dramatic show are eager for details. However, as of October 2024, the only confirmed information is that the show will return to Max in 2025.
The delay has been partly due to scheduling conflicts and the tragic passing of director Jean-Marc Vallée in 2021. Both Laura Dern and the leading actresses, including Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon, will be returning.
Kidman mentioned that her daughter asked her about the characters’ futures, sparking further interest in continuing the story. Witherspoon has confirmed that they are waiting for new material.
