Chris Evans reveals his life changed while working on ‘Gifted’
While “Gifted” may not be Chris Evans’ most celebrated project, it certainly isn’t the least known. Recently, it has been making waves since Netflix made the wise choice to add it to its platform, resulting in significant viewership.

Though, again, it might not be the standout title in Evans’ filmography, it holds a special place in his heart. He has repeatedly stated that his best decision came from his time working on this project, and that choice was adopting his beloved dog, Dodger.
Evans recalls meeting Dodger while filming one of the final scenes at an animal shelter. He jokingly wondered if the dogs were truly available for adoption or just there for the movie, as he later shared with People. While walking through the set, he spotted Dodger and felt an immediate connection that he couldn’t ignore.
What endeared Evans even more was Dodger’s slightly older age. Evans has often emphasized the importance of giving older dogs a chance, highlighting how they are frequently overlooked in favor of younger ones.
Since 2017, Dodger has been by Chris Evans’ side, and their bond is so meaningful that he even tattooed Dodger’s name on his chest!
