The character is inspired by María Andrea Lara, a Colombian entrepreneur who co-founded the influential modeling agency Klass Models during that era.

Alongside her sister and cousin, Lara played a pivotal role in revolutionizing Colombia’s modeling industry by championing women’s empowerment. She was instrumental in launching the careers of several beauty icons, including Miss Colombia Paola Turbay, one of her closest friends.
