It’s Brat summer, and we wish it would never end! While Charli XCX has always been an exceptionally talented artist, her latest work has made a significant mark in contemporary music, both for its quality and its growing cultural impact.

To further boost the album’s success, Charli plans to launch a series of remixes. As fans became obsessed with ‘Girl, So Confusing’ and deciphered clues that the song was dedicated to Lorde, Charli released a remix featuring the New Zealand singer, which quickly became a major trend.

Now, Charli has done it again with another remix, this time of the song ‘Guess,’ featuring none other than Billie Eilish. Billie, who has been outspoken about her sexuality in her latest album Hit Me Hard and Soft, continues to explore these themes in this collaboration (in a very R rated way).

All about the record set by the ‘Guess’ remix featuring Billie Eilish

Of course, the internet couldn’t remain indifferent to an iconic song by Charli XCX now featuring the pop sensation Billie Eilish. It was only a matter of time before the ‘Guess’ remix achieved its milestones.

According to official Spotify stats, the track has set a new record as the biggest debut for a female remix on Global Spotify, with 6.857 million streams. This is a significant achievement for Charli XCX, who states in the track ‘I Might Say Something Stupid,’ that she’s ‘famous but not quite.’

The news created a buzz online, especially since the previous record holder was Taylor Swift with her remix of ‘Karma’ featuring Ice Spice, which garnered 5 million streams back when it was released.

This development sparked clashes among fandoms, especially given the rumor that Taylor Swift often releases additional material whenever another female artist hits the top of the charts to reclaim the #1 spot.

Users pointed that, on August 3, just a day after this record was set, Swift dropped the digital version of Tortured Poets Department along with the bonus track ‘My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys’ as a first draft phone memo version for 24 hours only.

However, Taylor is most probaly using this strategy to outshine another artist. It seems more likely she’s targeting the release of Vulture 2, Kanye West’s latest collaboration album with Ty Dolla $ign, which features lyrics that take aim at her and Travis Kelce.
