Oliver Stone is making a long-awaited return to narrative filmmaking with “White Lies,” his first feature in nearly ten years. The film follows a man struggling with the same personal and familial mistakes that have haunted his parents, now repeating them in his own marriage while grappling with a troubled son. Feeling trapped in this cycle, he begins a journey of self-reflection and emotional reckoning, which takes an unexpected turn when he meets a woman whose life is very different from his own, challenging his worldview and priorities.
