“His Three Daughters” is the new dramatic Netflix film that brings together a stellar cast (with figures such as Elizabeth Olsen, Natasha Lyonne and Carrie Coon) to tell a story of grief, family and shared sorrow.
The film, directed by Azrael Jacobs, has been described as intimate and emotional, focusing on the complexity of sisterly relationships and the impact their father’s illness has on each of them.
The streaming giant acquired the worldwide rights to the film, which is Olsen’s first project not part of the MCU since 2018, at the exit of the Toronto International Film Festival for $7 million.

Who composed the score of His Three Daughters?
Rodrigo Amarante, a Brazilian musician and singer-songwriter known for his talent as a composer and performer, composed the music for Netflix‘s His Three Daughters, and he was initially part of the band Los Hermanos.
He has worked on several film and television soundtracks. In 2018, he composed the music for “7 Days in Entebbe”, a movie based on true events surrounding a plane hijacking in 1976.
His new pieces are an example of how his music can enhance the emotional impact of a visual narrative in drama, and his ability to connect with the audience through his compositions is manifested in this work.
