The first trailer of the upcoming remake of “The Crow,” which stars Bill Skarsgard and FKA Twigs, has been released. And, as it happens everytime a beloved movie gets a new version, there have been mixed reactions to the first teaser.
Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) helms the new version, which will once again follow Eric Draven, as he becomes a supernatural killer looking for revenge for his and his fiancé’s murders. The story is based on the comic book series of the same name by James O’Barr.
The initial movie, launched in 1994, featured Michael Wincott and Brandon Lee, who tragically passed away during filming due to an accident involving a prop gun. Since its release, the movie has become a cult-classic. And you can watch it for free in the US via Fubo, which offers a seven-day free trial. However, there are other options to stream it.

‘The Crow’ soundtrack: What iconic songs were featured?
One of the several reasons the film became so popular was the original soundtrack, which featured several bands such as The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Rollins Band, and Helmet. Meanwhile, the score was composed by Graeme Revell, who blended orchestral, electronic, and guitar elements.
The main theme of the feature was “Burn” by The Cure, which, according to Sanders, was the main inspiration for his new version, which will be more a “dark romance” than a revenge thriller. On the other hand, Stone Temple Pilots initially recorded “Only Dying” for the soundtrack, but after Lee’s tragic passing, the track was replaced with “Big Empty.” The full tracklist:
