Halloween is just around the corner, and while 2024 has brought us an exciting lineup of horror films to enjoy before and after the spooky date, “Terrifier 3” has undoubtedly been one of the most anticipated releases since it was announced in early 2023.
In this third installment, Art the Clown returns to haunt Lauren LaVera’s Sienna Shaw, who thought she was finally done with the psychopath but soon discovers otherwise during the holiday season. The picture is poised to be a box office hit, with the potential to surpass “Joker 2” in ticket sales.
What began as an independent filmmaking phenomenon in 2016 has now become a global sensation. So, new fans of the franchise are eager to know how long the latest installment will be available in theaters. Check all the details on its run!
How long will ‘Terrifier 3’ screen?
There are high expectations for “Terrifier 3” to remain in theaters for an extended period. The previous installment, “Terrifier 2,” was originally set for a one-week limited theatrical release in October 2022. However, it was so well-received that it remained in theaters for a second weekend starting October 12, and then the run was extended once more for an additional week, lasting until early November.
So, if you can’t purchase tickets for “Terrifier 3” right now and want to know how long it will be available on the big screen, you can expect it to be there at least until November 11, a month after its release. Given that it will premiere in several other countries on October 31, it’s also likely to remain in cinemas through the end of November.
The real question is: Will it be available around December 25? Considering that the entire flick takes place during the holiday season, it’s quite possible the producers will aim to extend its run until Christmas, making it even more fitting to watch during that time.
After its theatrical run, the movie is expected to head to Screambox. Other streaming services that host the previous installments, such as Prime Video, Fubo, and Peacock, may also be interested in adding “Terrifier 3” to their catalogs. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
