Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur and Alyah Chanelle Scott are ready to return to their fictional college lives with the third season of the series created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble: The Sex Lives of College Girls.
The episodes follow the lives of four friends attending Essex University, exploring friendship, love, and personal growth as they face the challenges and opportunities of their college life.
As already announced by Max, one of the main stars will no longer be a regular in the new season due to focusing on other projects. Yes, we are talking about the iconic Renée Rapp, who plays Leighton Murray.
When will the third season be released on Max?
Season 3 of the acclaimed HBO original series, The Sex Lives of College Girls, will be available on Max’s catalog on November 21 of this year. It is expected that all episodes will be released together, but this has not yet been confirmed.
Teen Vogue reported that fans of the comedy will get to see how Leighton’s story unfolds before Renée Rapp leaves the show to continue her music career. It has also been confirmed that the episodes will be a bit longer than before.
Key figures from Warner Bros. and Max invited the magazine to the SLOCG set for a preview of the new season and there they confirmed that the upcoming episodes will have a different duration. They said:
“They’re not an hour long, but they’re significantly longer than they’ve been in the past, which has always been my favorite Twitter criticism of the show… So we’ll be seeing some 33, 34 minute episodes as opposed to 23, 22“.
