Why isn’t Reneé Rapp in the third season?

Renée Rapp used to play Leighton Murray in “The Sex Lives of College Girls”, one of the four main characters in the HBO series. However, it has been confirmed that she will not be a regular in the third season.

The reason is quite simple: she wants to focus entirely on her music career. The singer has been in the music industry for years but recently achieved significant success, especially after releasing his first studio album, “Snow Angel”.

Although she will still appear in a few episodes of the new season (which will be released in November) to keep her character involved, her departure marks a significant change, leading to several twists in her storyline.

Also, since she portrayed Regina George in the new screen adaptation of Mean Girls: The Musical, her fame has been on the rise. This has boosted her music career, and she now wants to continue capitalizing on this momentum.
