As reported by Variety, investment firm Pophouse Entertainment has acquired a stake in the band’s publishing and master recording rights, along with its name, image, and likeness rights, in a partnership that also covers the group’s iconic mascot, Eddie.

The Deal Goes Beyond Music Rights

While the financial details have not been fully disclosed, Billboard reported that Pophouse acquired a 50% stake in the assets included in the agreement. The company, which was co-founded by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus, has become known for investing in the intellectual property of globally recognized music acts.

The partnership is expected to fuel a series of projects aimed at both longtime fans and new audiences. Among the first initiatives is the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience, an immersive exhibition celebrating Iron Maiden’s 50-year history. Debuting alongside the band’s recent EddFest event at Knebworth House, the attraction places Eddie at the center of the experience through themed installations and interactive elements inspired by the anniversary book “Infinite Dreams.”

The collaboration also extends to film and digital media. Pophouse is working with Iron Maiden on a cinematic project built around the band’s ongoing Run for Your Lives world tour. Future plans outlined by the companies include additional interactive fan experiences and the development of a digital universe centered on Eddie, one of heavy metal’s most recognizable characters.

Pophouse CEO Jessica Koravos described Iron Maiden’s longevity and extensive catalog as the foundation for a wide range of future opportunities, saying the partnership is intended to help carry the band’s legacy forward while creating new ways for fans to engage with its history.

Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood also welcomed the agreement, explaining that the relationship has been in development for more than a year and has already helped accelerate projects such as the museum experience and the tour film. He added that the band has many more plans in the works and assured fans that Eddie will remain at the heart of what comes next.
