According to Page Six, the Grammy-winning artist and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are on the verge of getting engaged. “The engagement is happening soon,” an insider stated, though a source close to Kelce has denied any official engagement plans.

Page Six also reported a rumor that the couple had already gotten engaged, sparked by the wife of a top Chiefs executive allegedly sharing the news with friends at a Kansas City concert by country star Morgan Wallen. However, neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed this.
The couple recently celebrated their first anniversary and have been open about their growing affection for each other. Swift, who last year broke up with her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, and then went on to have a whirlwind romance with 1975’s singer Matty Healy, has been pretty open about her new boyfriend.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone,” Swift said in her interview with Time in 2023. “And we’re just proud of each other.”
Kelce also addressed the public attention in a 2023 interview with WSJ Magazine, stating, “Obviously, I’ve never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them … I’ve never dealt with it. But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it.”
He added, “The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that I better not be the one acting all strange.”
Reports suggest that they are “codependent” with each other
With Kelce preparing for the new NFL season and Swift continuing the European leg of her Eras world tour, they have had less time together. A source told Life & Style Magazine that they are secretly worried about being apart.
“They’ve both gotten so codependent that the idea that they won’t see each other for even a few weeks is totally sickening for them,” the insider shared.
“Taylor is especially freaked out because she’s always got this fear of other women trying to get at Travis hanging over her head,“ the source explained. “She trusts him and he’s not done anything to make her worry, but the reality is he’s a guy and there’s always temptation.”
The source added, “She’s been burned plenty of times in the past.”
