Morfydd Clark and Charlie Vickers are just two of the incredible stars returning in the new episodes of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power“, with the first three released together on August 29 on Prime Video.
The second season continues to explore the stories developed in the first, including the war for control of the Rings of Power and the rise of Sauron, as well as the conflicts between the different races of Middle-earth.
The episode schedule has already been released, so we know there will be a total of eight episodes, with the last one airing on October 3. But… don’t worry, it’s been confirmed that there will be a third season.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power rumored cast salary
The second season of “The Rings of Power” promised to continue the legacy of Tolkien’s rich tradition with a more developed narrative and a greater focus on the depth of its characters and the world they inhabit.
For this, a large budget was required, just like with the first installment on Prime Video. Apparently, producing an episode of the series costs around $58 million, making it one of the most expensive on TV.
The budget for the first season was about $465 million, covering everything from set construction and special effects to the casting itself, which was filled with big stars… just like now.
Showbiz Galore reported that the main actors received a nice salary for each episode they appeared in. It hasn’t been confirmed if they received a raise, but the figures have been revealed.
