“The Day of the Jackal” is an upcoming suspense series set to premiere on Peacock on November 14 and will feature one of the industry’s most talented actors: Eddie Redmayne (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them).
The series is based on the classic 1971 novel by Frederick Forsyth and is a modern adaptation following “The Jackal”, a highly trained and elusive assassin hired to carry out high-profile missions.
Directed by Brian Kirk (known for renowned titles like Game of Thrones), the dramatic thriller will consist of 10 episodes, with five debuting on the first day, and the remaining episodes released weekly.
