The Bachelorette 2024: What happened to the traditional mansion?

The premiere of Jenn Tran’s season will have something different and it’s the mansion! The first episode of the season took place at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California, confirmed People magazine. According to their website, their estate includes “the grand Spanish Villa, shaded olive groves, sparkling fountains, sprawling lawns and private vineyards.”

The Hummingbird Nest Ranch has been featured in the franchise before, as they filmed “The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart,” a 2020 spin-off. However, this is the first season of The Bachelorette since Season 18 that didn’t start at the traditional Bachelor mansion in Agoura Hills, California. However, Jenn Tran didn’t mind.

“I think what I’ve been trying to tell myself [is I’m the] first Asian Bachelorette, first PA student, we’re really breaking the mold this season,” Tran told Entertainment Tonight. “I feel like a new mansion is the perfect way to break the mold… I’m gonna bless it with some really good vibes,” she said.
