The countdown is coming to an end and finally, the last episode of Season 22 of American Idol is upon us. All good things must come to an end, and it’s time to find out who the new winner of the reality show is.

On Sunday, not only will the three artists who have made it to the highly anticipated final be celebrated, but there will also be multiple emotional moments, as it will be the last episode of the program with Katy Perry as a judge.

To make it even more special, the official Instagram account of the competition confirmed that the pop-rock band New Kids on the Block and Nick Fradiani will return to the stage as musical guests.

The grand finale of American Idol 2024 is just a few days away and like all episodes of Season 22, it will be broadcasted on ABC, both on its official channel and its website.

The day after, the broadcast will become part of Hulu‘s catalog, where all episodes of the latest season of the most popular singing competition in the United States are already available.

The final episode of American Idol will take place on Sunday, May 19th at 8e/5p. It has been confirmed that the three artists will perform, and there will also be performances by stars like Bishop Briggs.

Who will be the mentor in the finale of American Idol 2024?

In a direct press statement from American Idol, it was confirmed that the chosen mentor for the last episode of Season 22 is none other than the iconic rocker, Jon Bon Jovi, who is the author of such hits as Livin’ on a Prayer and It’s My Life.

The 63-year-old icon will participate in the competition as the responsible guide for the final three contestants, of whom only one will be able to be crowned the winner of the 2024 edition of the reality show.
