Lily Collins will return to the screen with the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix/netflixs-emily-in-paris-season-4-release-date-cast-plot-and-everything-we-know">fourth season of “Emily in Paris”</a> this August, but another one of her titles is trending on Netflix worldwide. According to FlixPatrol, the horror film “Inheritance” is currently the sixth most watched movie on the platform.



The movie was first released in 2020, and apart from Collins, it also stars Simon Pegg, Connie Nielsen, Chace Crawford and Patrick Warburton. Pegg also stars in another trending film on the platform, the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix/netflix-mission-impossible-dead-reckoning-reaches-the-global-top-5">seventh installment of ‘Mission: Impossible,’</a> which occupies the global Top 5 spot.

“Inheritance” was directed by Vaughn Stein, who is known for other titles such as the neo-noir thriller “Terminal,” starring Margot Robbie, and the horror drama “Every Breath You Take,” which was led by Sam Clafflin.



<h2>‘Inheritance’ enters the global Top 10 on Netflix</h2>



The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> follows Lauren (Collins), who is the eldest daughter of Archer Monroe, the patriarch of a wealthy and powerful political family. After her father’s sudden death, she is trusted with a shocking secret which could destroy her and her family’s lives: a man (Pegg) that has been held captive for 30 years.



After finding that secret, Lauren will find out more secrets about her father, and will have to decide what to do with this new information. Crawford plays her brother William Monroe, while her mother is played by Connie Nielsen.

The film, which originally premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, was received mostly with negative reviews. For example, Oliver Jones of the Observer compared it negatively to “Succession” and “Parasite,” saying that there is “nothing much on Inheritance’s mind, and the relationships end up as underdeveloped as the film’s cliché-ridden dialogue.”





Meanwhile, Steve Pond of The Wrap writes that the film “acts as if it would like to be a meditation on power and guilt, but at heart, it’s a pulpy thriller in a bespoke suit.” However, it could be an entertaining watch if you know what to expect.

One of the most-watched series on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> globally is “Joko Anwar’s Nightmares and Daydreams,” an anthology from one of Indonesia’s most interesting new directors. According to FlixPatrol, the series is currently the eighth spot of the most-watched list.



Anwar is regarded as one of the most interesting Indonesian filmmakers, exploring different genres from romantic comedies (Joni’s Promise), as well as thrillers and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/horror">horror</a> films such as “Dead Time: Kala” and “The Forbidden Door.” He even has been compared with directors such as Jordan Peele and Guillermo del Toro.

According to Click The City, Anwar said that “Indonesia is so full of unique and extraordinary stories,” and that he is “always excited to have the chance to bring these stories to a wider audience, especially those that relate to the origins of our world.”



In general, the series has received positive reviews. James Marsh of South China Morning Post writes that the series in its entirety “reaches its audacious climax” thanks to the “vast tapestry of converging ideas and influences.”

Alongside Ashley, “After” star Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Luke Fetherston also appear. Ashley told Porter that the movie “is like an Indian Bridget Jones.” She also said that “it’s the first time I’ve seen an Indian girl as the lead in this kind of genre. Yes, there’s cultural specificity but never once did we stereotype my heritage or Indian traditions – everyone can watch this and feel a kinship to the character”.



<h3>This Tempting Madness (thriller) | TBD</h3>



She will also star in “This Tempting Madness,” a psychological thriller indie directed by Jennifer E. Montgomery, from her script written with husband Andrew M. Davis. It also serves as Montgomery’s directorial debut.



According to Deadline, the movie follows a young woman (Ashley) who awakens from a coma injured with her memory fractured, and her husband arrested. But as she puts together the pieces of her past, she starts to question her own actions — and her perception of reality.

Speaking to Porter, Ashley revealed that the story is “dark,” and that, at first, she didn’t think she was going to get cast because she wasn’t white. “This was an independent movie and I was so grateful to the producers and to the director – it didn’t matter where I was from; I was just the right actor for the role,” she said.



<h3>F1 Movie with Brad Pitt | June 27, 2025</h3>



Simone Ashley joined the cast of <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/all-we-know-about-brad-pitt-f1-movie">“F1,” the upcoming movie about Formula 1</a>. She will be acting opposite Brad Pitt, who is also a producer, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Sarah Niles. The movie is based on Carys Bexington’s bestselling book which mashed up two classic stories: Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and Clement Clarke Moore’s poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas” (also known as “A Visit From St Nicholas”).

And, of course, while Ashley is ready to explore all genres, she is also keen to return as Kate for another season of Bridgerton. She also revealed that both actors will “do all we can with our schedules to make it work so that we can, hopefully.” However, it’s not set in stone, and it would also depend on other factors, explained by showrunner Jess Brownell. “It’ll be dependent on how much story the main couples take up, and whether there is story room. It will be dependent on whether the actors are available,” she told Variety.

‘Dark Waters’ is a legal <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> which is based on a real-life story of Robert Billott, a lawyer known for his 20-year litigation against the chemical manufacturing corporation DuPont after they contaminated the water of rural towns in West Virginia with unregulated chemicals.



The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a>, which is directed by Todd Haynes, was mostly based on The New York Times Magazine 2016 article, “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare” by Nathaniel Rich. While it’s not on Netflix’s Top 10, this drama is still one of the most popular titles on streaming this week, according to JustWatch.



<h2>‘Dark Waters,’ a must-watch legal drama based on a true story</h2>



Despite having a star-studded cast and being directed by a renowned filmmaker as Haynes, the movie, which was originally released in 2019, was overlooked by the Oscars and other major awards. However, it was a critical darling, receiving mostly positive reviews for its script, performances and direction.



Ruffalo stars as Billott, while <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/anne-hathaway">Hathaway</a> plays his wife Sarah Barlage Bilott. The rest of the cast includes Tim Robbins, Bill Camp, Victor Garber, Mare Winningham, Bill Pullman, William Jackson, Louisa Krause, Kevin Crowley and Elizabeth Marvel. The movie also includes real victims of the cases, as well.

In the film, we follow how Billott started his long-time legal battle against DuPont, the company mostly known for producing the popular non-stick Teflon pans. One thing about the movie that critics have admired the most is the fact that it doesn’t embellish the true story in the dramatization, sticking mostly to the facts.



And, in words of Ruffalo, the facts are that the film follows “one of the greatest cover-ups in American history, and it affects everyone in the world now, and nobody knows about it,” he told ABC news back in 2019. “PFOA, it’s pretty much everywhere. They first found it in eagle eggs and that’s what kind of raised the alarm in the first place, but they found it everywhere. It’s in polar bears, it’s in 99% of all living creatures on the planet,” he explained.



So, if you’re looking for a daunting legal drama, ‘Dark Waters’ might be the perfect watch as, sadly, it was kind of overlooked at the time of its release. It’s not only a film about a specific case, but about a whole system that still puts us, all of us, in danger.

<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/dev-patel">Dev Patel</a>’s directorial debut “Monkey Man,” an action thriller in which he also stars and co-wrote, was one of the sensations coming out of the 2024 SXSW Festival. Now, the film is finally having its streaming release in the US this week.



The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> will come out on Peacock on June 14. Its streaming releases come two months after its theatrical premiere (April 15), in which the film grossed $34.6 million against a production budget of only $10 million. Apart from being a success at the box office, the movie has also been positively received by critics, with The Hollywood Reporter comparing it to John Wick.

Patel’s film, co-written with Paul Angunawela and John Collee, follows Kid (Patel), who barely makes ends meet by participating in underground fight clubs where he takes beatings for cash. However, when he decides to infiltrate the elite social circles of his city’s wealthiest and most corrupt individuals, he starts a quest to avenge his mother’s death.

The film has received praise for depicting many touchy subjects, especially in India: corruption, caste system, discrimination and more. However, for some, these elements create “expectations for a complex story that never emerges” (The New Yorker), but The Washington Post believes that the film addresses these inequalities in “ways more pointed than you would expect.”

Whether you have enjoyed Kenneth Branagh‘s recent adaptations of Agatha Christie’s works or not, it seems they are here to stay. However, this time, the next reimagination of the beloved writer will come from <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a>, not the “Belfast” actor.



A few months ago, it was announced that “The Seven Dials Mystery”, the novel by Christie that revisits characters from “The Secret of Chimneys”, will be adapted into a series. This won’t mark the first adaptation, as a movie directed by Tony Wharmby was released in 1981.



The new show will be brought to life by “The Crown” producer Suzanne Mackie, with the writing helmed by Chris Chibnall, known for “Broadchurch”, and direction by Chris Sweeney, noted for his work on “The Tourist” with Jamie Dornan.



<h2>Who will be the cast of ‘The Seven Dials Mystery’?</h2>



For now, only three names have been revealed for the cast. Leading the ensemble is Mia McKenna-Bruce, recognized for her role as Linda in “Last Train to Christmas.” She is set to portray Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, a character deeply entangled in unraveling a murder mystery at her family’s estate, while also uncovering a clandestine secret society.



Next, we have two actors who need no introduction. Helena Bonham Carter will grace the screen as Lady Caterham, the absent-minded mother of Lady Eileen. While Lady Caterham may not have a central role in the novel, it’s probable that the screenwriter will adapt the story to provide her character with a more prominent voice.



On the other hand, Martin Freeman joins the cast as Superintendent Battle. Tasked with investigating a series of mysterious events and murders, he is a recurring character in Agatha Christie’s crime-solving repertoire. Unlike her more flamboyant detectives like Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple, the amateur investigator is characterized by his methodical approach to solving crimes.



<h2>What will ‘The Seven Dials Mystery’ be about?</h2>



Building on the background of “The Secret of Chimneys”, “The Seven Dials Mystery” is set on 1925. It showcases a group of young men playing a prank on their friend Gerry Wade by placing seven alarm clocks in his room, set to go off one after another.

However, the joke takes a dark turn when Gerry is found dead the next morning, apparently having died in his sleep. In typical Agatha Christie fashion, nothing is as it seems, and suspicion arises when one of the alarm clocks goes missing.



Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent and Superintendent Battle join forces to uncover the mystery and catch the killer, risking their own lives as they discover that the culprit is far more dangerous than they had imagined.



<h2>When will ‘The Seven Dials Mystery’ be released on Netflix?</h2>



Although no specific release date has been announced for “The Seven Dials Mystery”, we can estimate its premiere based on its production timeline which, according to Variety, is set to begin this summer.



If filming starts and wraps up between June and September, the series could potentially be released in December this year or in the first months of 2025. The latter seems more likely, given Netflix’s already packed schedule for the second half of the year.



The streamer’s upcoming lineup includes titles such as “Heartstopper” Season 3, the second part of “That ’90s Show“, “Arcane” Season 2, “Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 2, and the highly anticipated continuation of “Squid Game”, which will likely dominate all the attention of the entertainment company towards the year’s end.

Phoebe Dynevor might have gained worldwide recognition thanks to his role as Daphne in Netflix’s hit <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/bridgerton">‘Bridgerton,’</a> but the actress, who didn’t come back for its third season, is ready to keep taking the world by storm with several upcoming projects.



After starring in ‘The Colour Room’ (2021), ‘Bank of Dave’ (2023), and the acclaimed <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> ‘Fair Play’ (2023), particularly receiving praise for the latter, she has been building an impressive resumé. And the 29 year old even earned a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination in 2024.

The film, which Komasa co-wrote alongside screenwriter Lori Rosene-Gambino, follows a formerly close knit family torn apart upon the rise of a new movement called “The Change” sweeping through the country.

Dynevor will star in an upcoming untitled shark thriller distributed by Sony Pictures, and directed by Tommy Wirkola, who most recently was behind David Harbour-starring Christmas action movie Violent Night.



She will appear opposite Whitney Peak, who is known for the recent Gossip Girl reboot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the feature will begin shooting in Melbourne in July. Also, while plot details are being kept under wraps, the reports say it revolves around a community that has to deal with shark attacks during a hurricane.
