<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/kristen-stewart">Kristen Stewart</a> is back on the big screen on the neo-noir <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/romance">romantic</a> <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> “Love Lies Bleeding.” The film, which also stars Katy O’Brian, arrived in theaters on March 8th, and it has received positive reviews by critics. Distributed by A24, the film will be available on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/max">Max</a> starting July 19, after the licensing agreement with Warner Bros. that started in December of last year. Both companies signed a multi-year Pay One deal which will permit HBO and Cinemax to have the entire A24 library, which includes recent titles such as Priscilla, The Whale or The Iron Claw.

<h2>‘Love Lies Bleeding’ is receiving positive reviews</h2>



Rose Glass, who made a splash with her psychological horror thriller Saint Maud, directs the film. Meanwhile, the cast includes names such as Jena Malone, Ed Harris, Anna Baryshnikov, and Dave Franco.



“Love Lies Bleeding” is set in the 1980s and follows Lou (Stewart), a shy gym manager who falls in love with Jackie (O’Brian), a bodybuilder. While the pair connect almost immediately, their relationship will be put to test as they travel to Las Vegas for a bodybuilding competition and Lou’s criminal family chases them.

At the 2024 Oscars, Deadline asked Leitch how it was working with Ryan and he said that the actor was ready to give his all to the role. “He was like ‘you know, I’ve been working as a romantic lead, as a comedic lead, and got to do an action movie (The Gray Man), I really want to do a movie that has all of it.’ And that’s what we did with ‘The Fall Guy,’” he said.



“You really get to see him be this sort of ultimate version of himself as an actor. He gets to go everywhere and have so much fun with it, but then brings drama and stakes,” the director added. In less than two years, Fourth Wing has become one of the most acclaimed and bestselling books of recent times, not only a phenomenon on TikTok but also ranking as the number one globally and in the United States.



The fantasy, romance and dragon novel marked Rebecca Yarros‘ debut in the genre and was so well-received that its adaptation for TV was officially confirmed. It is set to become a series produced by Amazon Studios and Michael B. Jordan.



The adaptation, based on The Empyrean books, will join the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/prime-video">Prime Video</a> catalog. According to Deadline, it will be a collaboration between the platform, Outlier Society, and the show will kick off with the first volume of the saga.



<h2>What is Fourth Wing about?</h2>



The official synopsis of the series has not been released yet, but it will cover the first book titled Fourth Wing. According to Deadline, the story will immerse viewers in the brutal world of Basgiath War College, where there is only one rule: graduate or die.

The protagonist is Violet Sorrengail, a 20-year-old who hoped to lead a quiet life among books, but her reality plunges into chaos when she is forced to join a competition to become part of Navarra’s elite: the dragon riders. “If the fire-spitting beasts don’t kill her, one of her fellow riders might”, assured the outlet.



Friendship, rivalry and passion are elements that will not be lacking in the series’ plot. Gradually, the episodes will reveal that everyone has a hidden agenda and is aware that, once inside the War College, there are only two possibilities, and one of them does not end well.



<h2>How many seasons will Fourth Wing have?</h2>



If the television adaptation proves successful, there is a high likelihood of multiple seasons. However, it will start with one, and for this to happen, the author must continue the story.



The second book, titled Iron Flame, was published on November 7 in the United States through Entangled Publishing. As expected, it was a massive success in multiple countries. 



According to the writer, three additional novels in the series are planned to be published soon, so the spicy enemies-to-lovers adventure is far from over.



<h2>Who will work on the development of Fourth Wing?</h2>



Amazon MGM Studios has been the company that acquired the rights to bring this epic tale of dragons and a rather spicy romance to the screen in a series format. But, of course, there is an entire great production team behind it.



Rebecca Yarros, the author of the saga, will be heavily involved in the project, serving as an executive producer and likely assisting with the script adaptation. <h2>Where will be ‘Land of Bad’ on streaming?</h2>



As we said, the film will be available to purchase or rent on digital platforms such as Prime Video, Youtube, Apple and more on March 19th, however its path to streaming on-demand is less clear.



The movie is distributed in the United States by The Avenue, which is part of the Highland Film Group. According to TheDirect, most of their movies have ended up streaming on Hulu, despite having a deal with Paramount to handle at-home distribution.

When it comes to when, most of the films have been released on streaming around the 117 to 217 days after their theatrical release. So, Land of Bad could come to streaming anywhere from mid-June to mid-September 2024.

“Furies” is an eight-episode series which revolves around the Parisian criminal world. It follows a young woman who is looking to avenge her father’s death and gets trapped in the web of the Fury, who is a woman peacekeeper of the city’s criminal underworld.



This young girl, portrayed by El Arabi, is named Lyna. She knows her parents are involved in illegal activities, but she is a student and tries to keep her distance from that. However, when visits her parents on her birthday, her father is shot in the head in front of her.

However, when it was first released, some praised the action sequences and choreographed fight scenes, as Kellan Lutz was the protagonist in many of these shots, which added more depth to the plot considering the character’s backstory.



The actor was not the only one involved in the project; there were some well-known figures who accompanied him in important roles. Gaia Weiss was one of them, bringing Hebe, his romantic interest, to life. Scott Adkins, Roxanne McKee and Liam Garrigan also joined the cast.



<h2>Kellan Lutz talked about the reimagining of the legend</h2>



Kellan Lutz starred in the 2014 film, which is a reimagining of the epic origins of the hero. During the year of its release, the star was interviewed by Collider and talked about his obsession with mythology films and why this was a dream role for him.



When asked how he got involved in the project and if he was really eager to play the character, the actor confessed, “Yes, absolutely! In our industry, you’ve been told ‘yes’ a million times, and I’ve been positioning myself. When I was a kid, I always had the dream of being Hercules. He is the epic hero. He is the original hero“.

He then added: “For me, becoming an actor, that childhood dream could come true. I went out for Thor, and Chris Hemsworth got it, but he is Thor. I was pretty close to being Captain America, but Chris Evans got it, and he deserves it. He is Captain America. I’m happy for them. I don’t get competitive. I do my best. 



If I get something, then it was meant to be. If I don’t, then it wasn’t. With Hercules, I just knew. I didn’t grow up loving Thor, or knowing much about Thor or Captain America, but with Hercules, yes. I think [director] Renny [Harlin] saw my passion for this, and quite easily”.

<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> has once again updated its rankings of the most-watched <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movies</a>, both globally and in the United States, and now a 2019 science fiction <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> has become a trend among American users. 



It’s Code 8, the dramatic <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/category/films">film</a> starring cousins Robbie and Stephen Amell, based on a short film of the same name created by Jeff Chan, who also directed the project, and Chris Pare in 2016.



The story is set in a world where people with supernatural abilities, called “types”, face discrimination and are considered a threat by society. Chaos escalates rapidly as the revolution begins.

Code 8 has not only become the number 1 movie worldwide and in the United States, but it is also one of the strongest trends on Netflix, thanks to the release of its sequel just one day ago.

According to Flix Patrol, the thriller holds a spot in the Top 5 in the American catalog and Top 6 in other countries. Moreover, it has managed to surpass other popular productions, such as Dune with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/zendaya">Zendaya</a> and The Abyss with Tuva Novotny.



During the afternoon of Thursday, February 29, the metrics-focused website also confirmed that the sequel, titled Code 8 Part II, has positioned itself as <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix/netflixs-code-8-part-ii-is-the-most-watched-movie-worldwide-and-in-the-us-20240229-SPEN-8736.html">the most-watched on the platform</a>, indicating that its success continues and has already built a solid fan base.



The main cast is filled with stars, with notable names including Robbie Amell as Connor Reed, Stephen Amell as Garrett, Sung Kang as Agent Park, Kyla Kane as Nia, Alex Mallari Jr. as Kingston, Jai Jai Jones as Travis, Simon Northwood as Rhino, Lawrence Bayne as Big Joe and Aaron Abrams as Davis, among others.

The story is set in the near future, where society fears and discriminates against people with special abilities. Connor Reed is a young “type” with telekinetic abilities who joins a group of criminals to help his sick mother.





However, his actions put him in the crosshairs of authorities and the military unit responsible for controlling the “types”. As the scenes unfold, the movie explores themes of discrimination, power and the struggle for survival in a divided world.



Upon its cinematic debut in 2019, the film received generally positive reviews for its original approach to the superhero genre, addressing relevant social issues, and its visual style and special effects.

Long before joining successful franchises such as<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/mission-impossible"> “Mission Impossible”</a> or “Dune,” Rebecca Ferguson starred in “Hercules” alongside <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/dwayne-johnson">Dwayne Johnson</a>. Despite being released 10 years ago, the movie is currently one of the most talked about <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movies</a> on social media, after <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/celebrities/dwayne-johnson-responds-to-rebecca-fergusons-comments-on-idiot-co-star-who-made-her-cry-20240228-SPEN-8457.html">Ferguson’s story of a co-star who “screamed” at her</a>.



However, it’s not Dwayne Johnson. The actor actually went to X to show some support to her co-star, writing: “Hate seeing this but love seeing her stand up to bullshit. Rebecca was my guardian angel sent from heaven on our set. I love that woman. I’d like to find out who did this.”

The film is based on Steve Moore’s graphic novel of the same name, and it follows Johnson as the self-proclaimed demigod and his band of mercenaries as they are hired to lead the Thracian army against a warlord. <h2>‘Hercules’, an epic drama with Dwayne Johnson</h2>



Apart from Johnson and Ferguson, who plays Ergenia, the cast of the film consisted on some A-listers such as Ian McShane, Joseph Fiennes, Irina Shayk, Rufus Sewell, Aksel Hennie, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal and Peter Mullan.



Directed by Brett Ranner, ‘Hercules’ was a box office success, earning $244 million on a $100 million budget. But when it came to the critics, it received mixed reviews. However, most of the critics praised Johnson’s performance and the movie’s action sequences, while there was some criticism for the plot.

One of the positive reviews came from Scott Foundas, chief film critic for Variety, who wrote that the film was “a grandly staged, solidly entertaining, old-fashioned adventure movie that does something no other Hercules movie has quite done before: It cuts the mythical son of Zeus down to human size (or as human as you can get while still being played by Dwayne Johnson)”.

However, John DeFore of The Washington Post wrote that the film “simply fails to exploit its assets: an amusing, revisionist take on the mythological strongman, and the charisma of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.”
