Ryan Murphy is one of the most successful producers in contemporary TV, with nearly everything he touches turning to absolute gold. Now, he has released what is set to be <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a>‘s biggest hit of the second half of 2024, “Monsters,” which centers around the 1989 murders of José and Kitty Menéndez, committed by their sons, Lyle and Erik.

Gein became infamous for his crimes in Plainfield, Wisconsin, where he exhumed corpses from graveyards and crafted grotesque items, including furniture and clothing, from human remains. His shocking acts inspired several iconic horror characters, such as Norman Bates from “Psycho,” Leatherface from “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” and Buffalo Bill from “The Silence of the Lambs”.



So, when can we expect the “Monsters” season based on Gein’s story to hit Netflix? Well, Ryan Murphy is renowned for his ability to release continuations of his shows within a year, and it’s likely that the Ed Gein installment will follow this pattern, surely debuting in the latter half of 2025. According to Variety, production is set to begin this October.



In fact, we might have seen “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” at the end of last year or early 2024 if not for the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, which delayed filming. With pre-production starting now, we won’t have to wait too long for the third part.

The streaming platform, which produces the show alongside Shonda Rhimes, has confirmed <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix/bridgerton-season-4-cast">which stars will be returning</a> for the upcoming episodes, who will not be part of the cast and who will be portraying the new characters.

In the season finale, Gjert contacts Julie from prison, proposing a deal: she must prove that Trine was responsible for the sabotage at the Marlax enclosures, and in return, Gjert will allow her to take over Meyer Fjordbruk. Julie agrees, setting the stage for a potential second season.
