After three seasons filled with success, adventure and challenges, Netflix has confirmed that one of its most iconic series will return to the catalog with new episodes. We’re talking about none other than Outer Banks.
The show, created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke, has been renewed for a fourth season, which has already finished filming and will bring back to the screen all the main stars of the drama, such as Madelyn Cline.
The episodes will continue to be set in the paradisiacal Outer Banks of North Carolina, where it follows the lives of a group of friends called the “Pogues”, whose group is often led by the character played by Chase Stokes.
Will the fourth season of Outer Banks be the last?
Just two days ago, Netflix announced that the production of the fourth season had already been completed, so The Pogues have finished their work for the new episodes, which will arrive with more drama and chaos than ever.
“While one chapter of the Pogues’ story has closed, the next phase of #P4L has only just begun, and the hunt for Blackbeard’s gold is on the horizon“, reveals Tudum, the official news site of the streaming giant.

The platform has not confirmed whether the fourth season will be the last, so there is still hope that it will be renewed for a fifth installment. However, its main actors have been quite busy.
Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline have become two of the most popular young stars in current Hollywood, so it remains to be seen if they still have time to travel to the paradisiacal filming sets for a new opportunity.

The search for a mythical treasure awaits the Pogues, so all the main stars will be back for OBX4. The only cast members who won’t return are Charles Halford and Charles Esten, who portrayed Big John and Ward Cameron.
