The ninth and final season of the legal drama “Suits” will finally arrive on Netflix this July. Created by Aaron Korsh, Suits enjoyed great success during its original run, from 2011 to 2019, but after being released on Netflix last year, the series earned even more popularity globally and in the US.
According to media analysts Nielsen, the show (the first seasons are available on the platform) was watched for a total of 57.7 billion minutes on Netflix last year. Thanks to those numbers, the series beat The Office’s previous record of 57.1 billion minutes, set in 2020.

Netflix: What to expect from Season 9 of Suits?
As fans might know, the show starts when Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) hires Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a quick-witted college dropout, as an associate even though Mike has no legal qualifications. However, in the Season 7 finale, Mike leaves the show after marrying Rachel (Meghan Markle), and they move to Seattle to open their own firm.
So, during Season 9, the law firm, Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams, is dealing with more changes after Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) takes the blame with the Bar Association to protect Harvey. This leaves Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl) struggling with the loss of her mentor. While comforting her, Harvey realizes he doesn’t want to lose the most important person in his life: Donna, the COO (Sarah Rafferty).
Both Harvey and Donna fight to restore the firm’s damaged reputation with the help of their partners Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Alex Williams (Dulé Hill), Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull), and Samantha.
