The story is based on true events and follows a young woman from the Swedish Sami indigenous community who tracks down a killer for personal revenge, delving into issues of racism and discrimination.

Elin Kristina Oskal, Martin Wallstrom, Dakota Trancher Williams, Elin Oskal, Jennifer Lila, John Anderberg, Lars-Ánte Wasara and Magnus Kuhmunen are some of the distinguished actors who are part of the cast.

The narrative is inspired by the eponymous novel by writer and journalist Ann-Helén Laestadius, who also served as an executive producer and whose writings took home the Swedish Book of the Year Award in 2021.
