Spanish series have been achieving notable success on Netflix in recent years, establishing themselves as one of the pillars of the platform’s international content. Therefore, it is no surprise that the new title is one of the major trends.

This is “Ni Una Más” (known in English as “Raising Voices“), the drama created by Miguel Sáez Carral. It brings together some of the most popular young stars, such as Clara Galle (Through My Window) and Nicole Wallace (My Fault).

The story addresses themes such as sexual assault, harassment and the challenges faced by young women. Therefore, it is not a production for everyone, as it touches on sensitive topics, especially among the younger generation.

The story follows Alma, a 17-year-old who publicly accuses a classmate of sexual assault just before her final exams, triggering an intense investigation that disrupts her life and strains her relationships.

Nicole Wallace leads the plot of the eight episodes, but she’s not the only Spanish actress shining on the screen, as Clara Galle and Gabriel Guevara (My Fault) are also present in important roles for the narrative.

The drama was directed by Eduard Cortés, Marta Font Pascual and David Ulloa, based on a script developed by Isa Sánchez and the writer himself, Miguel Sáez Carral, who was responsible for the novels on which it is based.
