Science fiction and supernatural dramas are often very popular on Netflix due to their ability to explore fascinating concepts and offer exciting, suspenseful stories. The same has happened with “Supacell” by Rapman.

The new original series from the streaming platform has become the biggest trend worldwide, dethroning other popular productions like Shonda Rhimes’ Bridgerton in just two days.

Tosin Cole (Bob Marley: One Love) is the star who brings to life the main character, Michael Lasaki, throughout the six episodes, which have captivated users so much that they are already asking for a second season.

Supacell ranked No. 1 series on Netflix worldwide

Supacell is the new Netflix series that has become the most-watched globally within just two days of its release, according to Flix Patrol. Thanks to viewers, it has accumulated thousands of views, dethroning other titles.

The story follows a group of seemingly ordinary people from South London who unexpectedly develop superpowers. They don’t appear to have a connection apart from sharing the same skin color.

Action, supernatural events and large amounts of drama are some of the elements that characterize all episodes of the first season of the TV show, whose cast is packed with mega-talented stars.

Tosin Cole has been chosen as the protagonist, in the role of Michael Lasaki. Alongside him, other key characters are played by Nadine Mills, Josh Tedeku, Eric Kofi Abrefa and Calvin Demba.
