Terrifier is back with its third installment in the franchise. It premiered on October 11 in theaters, surpassing several anticipated titles in terms of box office earnings, including the sequel to Joker with Lady Gaga.

The chilling and bloody story unfolds on Christmas Eve, focusing on Art the Clown, once again played by David Howard Thornton, who unleashes his violence on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County.

This time, a higher level of brutality is promised, with a budget of $2 million dollars, the highest in the series to date. The director Damien Leone hinted that he has planned several intense murder scenes.

How and when to watch Terrifier 3 on streaming

Terrifier 3 is an independent film, so it doesn’t have a definitive home on streaming and could end up on various platforms. Since it premiered on October 11, it’s still too early to know when it will debut online.

Forbes reported that its first stop will likely be digital video through premium video on demand. If the third film follows the same pattern as the previous ones, it will be in theaters for five weeks and then on PVOD.

This means we could purchase or rent the bloody title between Friday, November 15, and Tuesday, November 19. New releases typically arrive on Prime Video, Vudu and Apple TV between Tuesdays and Fridays.

Deadline reported that Cineverse has invested less than $5 million in Terrifier 3, which includes $1 million for marketing. Thanks to this and its gory personality, it has become one of the most anticipated releases.

As happened with the second installment, the film will also debut on SVOD on ScreamBox, a horror-themed streaming service owned by Cineverse, which is the main distributor of the franchise.
