“Scary Movie” is not only a popular horror comedy but has also been a game-changer in the industry, especially after its massive worldwide success, solidifying its status as a cult classic.
It has left a truly lasting legacy, and on the morning of April 11th, it was confirmed that a sixth movie is in the works. Apparently, production will begin in the fall of 2024, with the film slated for release in 2025.
The parody saga will return to the big screen and according to Variety, the franchise has started developing the new installment with Paramount Pictures and producer Neal H. Moritz (Fast and Furious).
