Tom Cruise will be back with the eighth installment of “Mission: Impossible,” which is currently filming. “MI:8” will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also wrote the script. While it was supposed to be the last movie of the franchise, the director has suggested that it might not be the last of Ethan Hunt and the team.
Actually, the saga is the 17th-highest-grossing film series of all time with $4 billion to date. However, the last film, “Dead Reckoning” didn’t meet expectations at the box office, grossing $567.5 million but against a budget of $219 million.
