The Confidante” is a new French psychological thriller series that has joined the list of original French productions on HBO, with its first season starring the talented actress Laure Calamy (A World Without Women and Only the Animals).

The intriguing story, which arrived on October 11 at Max, follows Christelle Blandin, a Parisian obsessed with rock music who, after witnessing the harrowing terrorist attacks of November 13, 2015, quickly joins a community of survivors.

Will The Confidante have a second season at Max?

So far, there is no official confirmation about a second season of “The Confidante”. The French series, which arrived on the Max catalog on October 11 of this year, is a limited miniseries inspired by real events.

TV Insider, the entertainment news site, reported that it consists of a single season that includes four episodes, so it is possible that a continuation is not planned due to its format as a short production.

However, if the drama is successful, there could be possibilities for a new season, although that will depend on the audience’s reception and the producers’ decision. This has happened before, but in cases of significant popularity.
