Singer, actress and businesswoman Selena Gomez is a multi-talented woman. While she is currently starring in Hulu’s sitcom “Only Murder in the Building,” she is also trending on Max thanks to her culinary series “Selena + Chef.”
The series, which has been critically acclaimed, has returned to the Top 10 of the platform in the US. According to FlixPatrol, “Selena + Chef” is currently ranked seventh on the most-watched list on Max.
In the series, Gomez is seen cooking with the assistance of some of the best chefs in the world, such as Ludo Lefebvre, Antonia Lofaso, Candice Kumai, Roy Choi, Jon Shook, Vinny Dotolo, Nancy Silverton and more.
Selena Gomez moves to professional kitchens in ‘Selena + Restaurant’
After four seasons of “Selena + Chef,” in which she filmed herself in her kitchen (and in the fourth season in Hannah Montana’s famous Malibu house), the singer has been dealing with some disasters while cooking.
However, Selena’s personality, the actress is known for maintaining everything very real, will now have to handle all the stress of cooking in a real professional kitchen in her new spin-off “Selena + Restaurant,” which premiered back on May 2.
Both shows, from the Food Network, are available to watch on Max. “Selena + Restaurant” will air its final episode on May 16. For this season, the singer will visit some of the most famous restaurants in LA, such as CUT Steakhouse, Ms Chi, Moo’s Craft Barbecue and more.
She will attempt to cook one of the dishes on the menu. As always, the chefs participating in the show will donate $10,000 to a charity of their choice. For 2021, the show had raised $360,000 for nonprofit organizations.
