The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back with the 2024 version, and it has not only brought a change in format but also several of its iconic angels have had their special moment on the runway, along with several debuts.

In 2018, the popular show faced criticism for its lack of inclusion and diversity in the selection of models, resulting in a decrease in viewership and the cancellation of the event after that year.

The brand decided to restructure itself and in 2021 launched the VS Collective, a more inclusive group of ambassadors that includes figures like soccer player Megan Rapinoe and transgender model Valentina Sampaio.

How much did the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show cost?

The production cost of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 has not been publicly revealed, but it is expected to be similar to previous years. Historically, the event has had expenses ranging from $10 to $12 million.

This includes the set design, wardrobe, live music, and infrastructure deployment. It is likely that the show will maintain a high budget, considering it is returning after years of hiatus and the significant anticipation generated.

The 2024 edition has been reimagined as part of the brand’s transformation, incorporating a global tour featuring artists and creatives from different cities, including Bogotá, Lagos, London and Tokyo.
