The story revolves around an Irish shepherd family facing various challenges: internal struggles, hostility within the family, and rivalry with another farmer. Keoghan brings Jack, one of the main characters, to life.

The script was developed by Don Winslow (Savages and The Death and Life of Bobby Z), who is also responsible for the novels on which the film is based. The actor himself will produce a film that, if all goes well, could be the beginning of a new franchise. 



The story is set in the mid-1980s and follows Danny Ryan, who is forced to transform from a street soldier into a ruthless commander to save his loved ones. Due to this, he plans to create a dynasty or perish in the attempt while battling against the mafia, the police and the government. 



Deadline confirmed on April 16th that Justin Kuritzkes, the writer of “<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/luca-guadagninos-challengers-when-is-the-movie-with-zendaya-released-20240221-SPEN-7289.html">Challengers</a>” with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/zendaya">Zendaya</a>, will be responsible for writing the script for the adaptation, which will also be produced by Butler and focuses on two criminal empires in a brutal war.

It seems that everything indicates that Austin Butler will be the one to replace Val Kilmer‘s character in the upcoming Heat 2, directed by Michael Mann. The young actor has been seen undergoing gun training with Taran Tactical.

The Swedish actor will bring Eddie Barrish to life in Locked, the upcoming horror and suspense film directed by David Yarovesky, based on a script developed by Michael Arlen Ross. The star will be accompanied by industry giants like Anthony Hopkins.



The project is currently in post-production, but the release date for the big screen is yet to be announced. The plot follows a thief who breaks into a luxury SUV, only to realize that he has fallen into a sophisticated and deadly trap.

<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/nicolas-cage">Nicolas Cage</a> will team up with Bill Skarsgård to carry out a new war drama titled Lords of War. They will bring to life the characters Yuri Orlov and Anton in the upcoming film written and directed by Andrew Niccol, which is still in pre-production.



So far, they are the only two confirmed cast members in this crime and suspense story. The plot follows Yuri Orlov, the world’s most infamous arms dealer, who discovers that he has a son, Anton, creating a mercenary army to serve the United States, sparking a rivalry between father and son.



<h4>The Things They Carried | TBA</h4>



Rupert Sanders was set to direct “The Things They Carried“, a star-studded film that includes Bill in its cast. The news was announced in 2020, but nothing further has been heard about the project since then.



While it hasn’t been officially canceled, it’s possible that it may not move forward. Besides the actor from It, the war drama’s cast included <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/tom-hardy">Tom Hardy</a>, Stephan James, Ashton Sanders, Tye Sheridan and Pete Davidson.

This year, the Gala welcomed guests to the exhibition “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” According to Vogue, the collection celebrates “clothing and fashion so fragile that it can’t ever be worn again—and are thus sleeping beauties in the scrupulous archives of the Costume Institute.”

Meanwhile, “The Garden of Time” part of the theme comes from the short story of the same title by J.G. Ballard in 1962. The story follows two aristocrats, Count Axel and his wife, surrounded in an exquisite castle garden by an advancing mob. To stop the danger, the Count must pluck a time-reversing flower and they are safe another day. However, when they run out, the mob finally enters the castle, and they find a statue of a man and a woman in the garden.





Regarding the several interpretations of the story, we can agree that the themes are clear: time, nature, and decay. Per Vogue, the interpretation of the themes can go from the literal theme of a “garden” (think, floral) or going with more nuanced designs that explore time and nature (after all, the exhibition is divided into Land, Sea and Sky). Other garments that could fit the theme nicely might include recreations of the archival designs that will be featured in the exhibition.



<h2>Who are the co-chairs of the Met Gala?</h2>



The 2024 Met Gala co-chairs are big A-listers and known-fashion lovers (at least, three of them): Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth. While this will be the first Met Gala for the ‘Thor’ actor, the first three names have been seen at the event before.

He won’t be reprising a supporting role; instead, he will bring John Prophet to life in the adaptation of the comic “Prophet“.



Sam Hargrave will be directing the film, and the release date is still a mystery. Despite initially joining the MCU as Mysterio, this is the actor’s new opportunity to secure a larger role within the company.



Prophet is a character created by Rob Liefeld in the 1990s, during the early days of the Image Comics publisher. He was a genetically created supersoldier in World War II. According to Stars My Destination, he woke up in the world of 1992 completely disoriented and unsure how to relate to this new world.

Jake Gyllenhaal will return to the screen to once again portray Elwood Dalton, who in the previous installment was the cause of several problems and has had to fight with more than one on multiple occasions.



Jennifer Salke, director of Amazon MGM Studio, revealed that the project is in development and said, “As we saw this spring, the world went crazy for a little movie called ‘Road House’. Nearly 8 million viewers globally have watched ‘Road House’. We like to watch these results like a baby”.

The crime <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> revolves around the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb at a construction site in London, leading to a massive evacuation as bomb disposal experts descend on the scene to defuse it.



However, the distraction also provides the perfect cover for a bank heist, causing chaos to erupt, and things quickly spiral out of control. The director himself spoke about the story, saying:



“I had the idea of combining all the risks of an unexploded bomb with those of a bank robbery, colliding these two genres to create the greatest possible pressure in a context that feels as real as possible. Ben Hopkins took those ingredients and crafted the compelling script that we are now bringing to production“.



The release date for the film is still unknown, as the production is in its early stages, and the cast has not been fully finalized, indicating that filming is not set to begin anytime soon.



<h4>Rothko — October 25, 2024</h4>



The star will not only share the screen with Russell Crowe in Kraven but will also do so in Rothko, the biographical film about the iconic painter set to hit the big screen on October 25, 2024. The script is written by Lee Seldes and Lara Wood.



The story follows Kate Rothko, the daughter of the revered American painter Mark Rothko, who becomes entangled in a prolonged legal battle with the executors of her father’s estate and gallery directors, in a struggle to honor his legacy.



So far, it is only known that the Gladiator actor will portray Mark Rothko, and he will be joined by figures such as Michael Stuhlbarg, Jared Harris, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Aisling Franciosi, who will play the role of Kate Rothko.



<h4>The Fall Guy — May 3, 2024</h4>



<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/when-is-the-fall-guy-with-ryan-gosling-and-emily-blunt-coming-out">The Fall Guy</a> is the upcoming action thriller that will reunite the actor with prominent figures in the industry, such as <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/ryan-gosling">Ryan Gosling</a> and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/emily-blunt">Emily Blunt</a>, who will be the stars of the film scheduled to make its debut on the big screen on May 3.



There, Aaron will portray Tom Ryder, while the rest of the cast will include Teresa Palmer, Winston Duke, Stephanie Hsu, Hannah Waddingham, Adam Dunn, David Collins, Lee Majors, Zara Michales, and other actors.

The story follows Colt Seavers, a stuntman who left the business a year ago to focus on his physical and mental health. However, he returns to service when the star of a big-budget movie directed by his ex-wife goes missing.



The dramedy is directed by David Leitch, based on a script developed by Drew Pearce, who drew inspiration from the original television series that aired from 1981 to 1986 and was created by Glen A. Larson.



<h4>Nosferatu — December 25, 2024</h4>



Nosferatu is the upcoming major horror film that brings back the classic and has become one of the most anticipated titles of 2024. It is estimated to make its grand debut on the screen on December 25th, so we already have plans for Christmas.



Directed and written by Robert Eggers, it is a gothic tale of obsession set in 19th-century Germany between an enchanted young woman and the ancient Transylvanian vampire who stalks her, bringing with it incalculable <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/horror">horror</a>.

<h4>Kraven the Hunter — August 30, 2024</h4>



It seems that his collaboration with Marvel Studios is not over yet. After his role as Pietro Maximoff ended in the MCU with Avengers: Age of Ultron, the studio didn’t let him stray too far, as he will now be the lead in Kraven: The Hunter.



The film is set to hit the big screen on August 30th of this year, with J.C. Chandor as the director, and undoubtedly, it will bring several surprises with it. It’s a rather atypical project for the company, as blood and violence are the defining features of the plot.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson will bring Sergei Kravinoff to life, also known as Kraven. The story follows the Russian immigrant who embarks on a mission to prove that he is the world’s best hunter and a formidable strategist.



The character is a supervillain, with his main obsession being to hunt and defeat the most dangerous creatures. In the comics, he considers Spider-Man as his most desired prey, so the adaptation might pave the way for a crossover at some point.



The cast will be filled with A-list stars, and the 33-year-old actor won’t be the only one shining on screen; he will be joined by Russell Crowe, Christopher Abbott, Alessandro Nivola, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Chi Lewis-Parry, and Levi Miller, among others.



<h4>James Bond new FILM — TBA</h4>



Apparently, everything indicates that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be the one to replace <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/daniel-craig">Daniel Craig</a> in the role of 007 in the new James Bond movie. There were several months of doubt about who would wear the elegant suit, but it seems that the wait is over.

After a quiet 2023, Kristen Stewart will appear in several <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movies</a> this year, including the highly anticipated <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/romance">romantic</a> <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> “Love Lies Bleeding,” which is set to premiere in March. However, the actress is also seeking to make her first feature film.



In an interview with Variety prior to 2024 Sundance, Stewart said that she is looking for financial support to finally make her first feature film, an adaptation of “The Chronology of Water,” the 2011 memoir by author Lidia Yuknavitch.

Written and directed by Andy and Sam Zuchero in their directorial debut, the film is a post-human love story between two AIs: a buoy, named Me (Stewart), created to catalog the ocean, and a satellite, named Iam (played by Steven Yeun). The movie doesn’t have a distributor yet.



<h2>Sacramento (TBD)</h2>



Stewart will also appear in Michael Angarano’s second feature film “Sacramento,” a road trip comedy in which he stars alongside Michael Cera. Angarano also wrote the script with Chris Smith. Maya Erskine is also set to star. The movie was filmed in 2023, but it doesn’t have an official release date yet.

Stewart will act alongside Oscar Isaac in the upcoming vampire thriller “Flesh of the Gods.” The film is set in the 1980s Los Angeles, and they will play a married couple which will find themselves attracted to enigmatic figure known as Nameless, which will drawn them into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.



<h2>The Challenger (TBA)</h2>



Kristen has joined “The Challenger” to star and finally make her big debut as a lead in a TV series. The actress will bring Sally Ride, the first female astronaut to fly in space, to life.



Maggie Cohn has been chosen to write and be the showrunner of the limited series, which could fall into the hands of Amazon, although nothing is confirmed yet, but it will be revealed in the coming weeks.



The story follows Sally, who became the first to fly as part of NASA’s 1978 space shuttle astronaut class, which was the first to be diversified not comprised of all white men, according to Deadline.

The story follows Pino, whose country has been taken over by fascist Mussolini and his Nazi allies. He joins the underground movement to help Jews escape to Switzerland but is later conscripted into the German army by his parents. When Pino is injured, he is assigned a role that provides a significant advantage as a member of the Italian resistance: serving as Adolf Hitler’s personal chauffeur.



<h3>Fred Astaire biopic</h3>



Fred Astaire will have his own biopic, and it will be Tom Holland who brings the actor, singer, and dancer to life. Sony will be the production company in charge of the title, and now that the young star has returned to the scene, it is estimated that the film will resume its development.



So far, only Tom has been confirmed, both in the cast and the overall team, as the project is in the pre-production phase. This will be the perfect time for him to showcase his dancing skills, bringing the icon to life.



According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul King (known for Paddington and Wonka) has been chosen to direct the yet-to-be-titled biographical film about the choreographer who shone during the golden age of cinema.



The story will follow the classic fiction that has marked history but in London’s West End. It is a new version, which will be directed by Jamie Lloyd, a British theater director known for his minimalist and expressionist style. Steven O’Dell, an executive at Sony Pictures, confirmed that the action, adventure and science fiction movie is already in development, so it could hit theaters in the coming years, with Tom Holland and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/mark-Wahlberg">Mark Wahlberg</a> returning.



The British actor will return to lead the plot in the role of Nathan Drake, while he is accompanied by his co-star, who brings Victor Sullivan to life. Mark himself assured that his character will be more faithful to the games.



<h3>Spider-Man 4</h3>



Of course, after watching “No Way Home”, it goes without saying that there will be new films on the way, bringing back the original actors. The fourth installment is scheduled for 2026, with filming taking place in the summer of 2025.

<h3>American Speed</h3>



“American Speed” is the upcoming dramatic film from Oscar-nominated Charles Roven, which will bring together two of the most talented young stars in the industry: Tom Holland and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/austin-butler">Austin Butler</a>. And… they’ll be brothers!



The film is based on real events and follows the story of two Texan brothers, Dale and Bill Whittington, who used to be race car drivers. Both competed in Le Mans as well as multiple times in the Indy 500.



They were really popular, especially after being part of the 1980s scandal involving the International Motor Sports Association, where drivers funded their activities with drug trafficking profits.



Not much is known about the project yet, only that the actors are the only confirmed cast members as of September 2024, and that the producer behind it, along with Atlas Entertainment, is confirmed.



<h3>Untitled Christopher Nolan Universal Project</h3>



Christopher Nolan’s mysterious upcoming project, expected to be released on July 17, 2026, is poised to be another A-list picture from him. Not only has it called on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/matt-damon">Matt Damon</a> to star, but it has also added Tom Holland to what is expected to be one of the most star-studded casts.



Not much is known about the film, except that it will be set in a time period that is not close to the present at all. Following Nolan’s very successful collaboration with Universal for “Oppenheimer”, the studio will once again produce and is already preparing for an IMAX release, as is customary for the director.



This will be the third time that the filmmaker and Damon collaborate, while it will be a first for Holland. Given that Nolan has a tendency to direct Oscar-nominated performances, fans of the “Spider-Man” actor are already buzzing with excitement about this possibility.
