According to Variety, Victoria Beckham has addressed the ongoing rift with her son Brooklyn Beckham for the first time, offering a restrained public response after months of escalating headlines surrounding the family dispute.

Victoria Beckham Addresses Family Rift With Brooklyn

In a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, Beckham chose a notably careful tone when the conversation turned to her relationship with her children, including Brooklyn. Rather than engaging directly with the accusations that have circulated in recent months, she framed her response around the family’s long history in the spotlight. “I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much,” she said.

The former Spice Girl, who has spent decades navigating life in the public eye alongside husband David Beckham, pointed to that visibility as a defining factor in how the family operates. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she continued.

Her remarks arrive after a turbulent period marked by public allegations from Brooklyn regarding his upbringing and his parents’ role in his marriage to Nicola Peltz. The fallout traces back to tensions surrounding the couple’s 2022 wedding, with disputes over planning decisions and family dynamics spilling into the public sphere over time.

While Beckham did not address individual claims, she made clear where she intends to draw the line. “We’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children,” she said, closing off further elaboration. “That’s all I really want to say about it.”

The response, measured and contained, suggests no appetite for a prolonged public back-and-forth, even as the family’s private tensions continue to attract outsized attention.
