After completing a lengthy hiatus for mandatory military service, all seven members of BTS are officially back together and gearing up for a new chapter in their careers. With Jin being the first to enlist in 2022 and the last members finishing by June 2025, the group is preparing for new music and a world tour in 2026.

During the break, each member explored solo projects, showcasing their individual styles and ambitions. Now, as BTS slowly ramps up group activities while balancing personal goals, fans are eager to see what this new era holds. In a recent update shared on Weverse, Namjoon opened up about his thoughts on this transition.

“I Miss You”: RM Writes Candid Weverse Post to Fans

Since being discharged from the military a little over two months ago, BTS’s leader Namjoon has been adjusting to life back with his bandmates in Los Angeles. He describes the experience as both exciting and strange, a mix of familiarity and newness that feels almost surreal. Each day is filled with a rhythm of work, exercise, and reflection, and in the quiet moments on the terrace of their rented home, Namjoon has been contemplating the past, present, and future.

He admits that these reflections haven’t brought clear answers. Rather than laughing or crying, he finds himself moving forward day by day, navigating life in a state of constant motion. Namjoon reflects on the nature of the self, noting that scientists see it as a sum of electrical signals in the brain, while Buddhist teachings frame it as the result of flow and connections. This idea extends to BTS as well, he writes — the group isn’t a fixed entity but something that changes and grows with time.

Namjoon also shares candid thoughts about the meaning of BTS, acknowledging that each member and each fan may see it differently. Despite uncertainty about the group’s exact identity or even the direction of their next album, he expresses gratitude for still being able to create music together. For him, the focus is on the present moment and the shared experience with his friends, which he hopes will become something beautiful and lasting.

Closing his heartfelt message, Namjoon reaches out directly to fans, asking about their own “colors” and expressing how much he misses them. He promises that when BTS reunites with their audience, it will feel like no time has passed at all, and he vows to give his best until that day comes. With warmth and sincerity, he signs off simply: “I love you.”
