East of Eden

East of Eden” is Mike Faist’s new project that will not only bring him back to the screen but will also see him working alongside major stars in the industry, especially Florence Pugh (We Live in Time and Thunderbolts*).

The actor will co-star in the series in the role of Cal Trask, a character famously portrayed by James Dean. Alongside the two young stars, they are joined by figures like Christopher Abbott and Hoon Lee.

The upcoming limited Netflix production will explore the multigenerational saga of the Trask family, focusing on its indelible anti-hero, Cathy Ames (to be played by Florence). It is not yet known when it could be released.

In total, the drama will have seven episodes led by Pugh, who will also serve as an executive producer. Zoe Kazan will be responsible for adapting John Steinbeck‘s work, making it an interesting endeavor. The director confessed to Tudum:
