Though Edward Bluemel has been a presence for some time, his role as Lord Guildford Dudley in Prime Video‘s “My Lady Jane” has catapulted him to worldwide recognition since the show’s release.

Like Luke Newton and Damian Hardung in recent months, he now embodies the new romantic lead. Yet, his popularity owes much to the passionate on-screen chemistry he shares with co-star Emily Bader.

Their performances were so compelling that they sparked speculation about an off-screen love. However, Edward Bluemel has been in a committed relationship for quite some time with someone who does not avoid the limelight at all. Learn more about Mary Beth Barone next.

Who is Edward Bluemel’s girlfriend?

Mary Beth Barone, a 33-year-old comedian, writer, and actor based in New York City, hasn’t gained her fame through Edward Bluemel. If anything, she’s likely boosted his profile here and there, given her widely acclaimed work. Interestingly, she even boasts more Instagram followers than him!

According to her agency, United Talent, Mary Beth has headlined sold-out shows at prestigious events like the New York Comedy Fest, Netflix Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe. She’s also appeared on Max‘s “That Damn Michael Che,” MTV’s “Punk’d,” and featured in various comedy specials on Comedy Central.

It appears Mary Beth and Edward Bluemel crossed paths before 2021, as she confirmed their relationship on October 19 of that year via Instagram, humorously noting, “Going public with having a hot boyfriend.”

Known for her irreverent comedy that tackles taboo topics with humor, Barone has established herself as one of her generation’s top comedians. She’s currently embarking on a stand-up tour titled “The Pillow Talk,” featuring 10 dates from Toronto to Boston.
