This same user later posted a video of Stone at the ongoing New York Film Festival, where she was seen sporting a wig that was notably different from her usual hair color. In the video, she jokingly commented with friends about wearing fake hair, confirming that she has indeed gone bald!
While it remains unclear if this bold decision was specifically for “Bugonia,” speculation arises due to the director’s tendency to request significant physical transformations from his actors. “Bugonia” is a science fiction comedy remake of the 2003 South Korean film “Save the Green Planet!” by Jang Joon-hwan. The plot follows two conspiracy-obsessed young men who kidnap a high-powered CEO, convinced she is an alien intent on destroying Earth. So far, Jesse Plemons is the second confirmed cast member besides Stone, with the movie scheduled for release on November 7, 2025.
