While it remains unclear if this bold decision was specifically for “Bugonia,” speculation arises due to the director’s tendency to request significant physical transformations from his actors. “Bugonia” is a science fiction comedy remake of the 2003 South Korean film “Save the Green Planet!” by Jang Joon-hwan. So far, Jesse Plemons is the second confirmed cast member besides Stone, with the movie scheduled for release on November 7, 2025.
